this thing about the hyde amendment pisses me off. being a survivor of sexual abuse, and given the fact that i just did a speech on the topic today in my speech class… by the time a victim of rape discovers she’s pregnant, almost all signs of physical trauma will be gone.
i can’t even form the right words right now to express my outrage.
my roommate & some friends & i just had an in-depth discussion about what we’re doing at SCAD. we’ve come to the general consensus that we’re all scared to graduate, and none of us feel like we’re having a real college experience because we’re holed up in our rooms doing projects and hiding from the world for the sake of foundations classes that some of us...
stomach, please stop being upset with me. i promise you will get nourishment soon. my roommates get back from class in an hour, and then you will have a sub. please stop making the rest of me feel nauseous. love, anna.

I go through phases, you see: some days pictures speak for me better than words themselves, and other days, the written word comes more easily and paints images for me then. It’s a cycle, and something I can scarcely control.
